What watt bulb for a red traction lava lamp please?

Hi all, I had another good day at the boot sales today, I got an orange Jet and a Cresworth Traction lava lamp.

The Jet works fine but the Traction lamps' wax just sits in a domed lump, lol.

It seems quite cool to the touch, so I thought I'd ask all if anybody had an idea which is the correct bulb, please.

Jet was £4 and the traction lava lamp was £22 - both bargains.

Good bargain, but don't you mean Coach Lantern? Traction Engine lamp also by Crestworth doesn't have any wax.

You're right, I just couldn't remember what they were called, old age is a swine, lol.

Funny you should mention the traction lamps as I got one of those last year for a pound, uber bargain!!!

Do you know what watt bulb the lantern lamp requires please?
