Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

If it wasn't for you all here, I'd have been looking to buy a new lava lamp after the one I got for Christmas didn't seem to work. After browsing the many helpful sections, i found this place had ALL the answers and then some!

I switched to a frosted bulb and it worked. Much like others have said, they didn't understand how it would work but trust me it did. So what did I do? I decided to "shake" it. WTF! So I then tried a recipe you all offered and lo and behold, the lamp works even better than the China stuff that was in the bottle!

You guys/gals ROCK and I will definitely be adding to my collection moreso and will post pics as soon as i have a respectable collection going on.

Man that thing is hypnotizing and very relaxing! I'm gonna move it somewhere central as I have a kink (sp?) in my neck from watching it like a moth watches fire! :)

Thanks for the welcome and I'll upload pics of a homemade job I'm gonna work on using an empty vodka bottle. Not the Absolut vodka one but a cooler one tyhat is new to the market. Check out my thread shortly entitled "Skull Lamp."
Another oozing goo success story. Glad to be of help.
