Your favorite Operating System?

Don't know if we've done this before but I thought it would be kinda fun with Windows 7 and Snow Leopard coming out before the end of the year. What's your favorite operating system? What was your least favorite operating system. How long have you used it. Keep it clean and fun :D

My favorite operating system was Windows Millennium Edition (Windows Me) because it was basic and ran smoothly FOR ME, even though it did go down as the worst ): I liked the user interface, icons and it never really gave me any serious issues. My least favorite goes to Windows Vista. Takes way too much to work properly and seems like it was rushed into development just to keep up with the competition, not to mention all the incompatibilities with hardware, Of course ME had that too but I never had a problem.

But I guess the BEST OS would probably go to Windows XP and MAC OS X

no it will be later in the year it is still in the beta testing stage. but like vista this was delayed so who know's what will happen.

The offer to upgrade only applys for systems bought after the release of Windows 7. So, for us schmucks that bought our systems with income tax, I guess we'll have to pay to upgrade. When Christmas systems are released, maybe Windows 7 will be installed instead.

Actually I looked this up. Looks like if you buy a new VISTA pc on or after July 1, 2009 then you will be eligible for a Free Windows 7 upgrade.

Don't know how accurate this article is.
