While I do not have any Starships I want to be on board! They are cool lamps!

Awesome VOXul! That's why I left membership open to anyone. I just thought the Starships were cool enough to warrant a group dedicated to them.

Well, I don't own one either, but I was just commenting to Vox in chat 2nite that they should bring back some of the classics for a 50th anniversary!!!  If they're not going to bring anything interesting out that's brand new, why not reinvent the wheel??!!  Do the starships again, or the custom bases and globes.  That would not only revamp the lava industry, but it would do well for Spencer's as a whole I'm sure.  Since they cut back on their funky lighting, the customer clientele is way down.  I think the return of some of the vintage lava's would do well for everyone all around.  They brought back the Wizard, why not the Starship?

Rich, forgot to ask...do they also have an inline toggle switch on them like the premieres, classics and you know, the regular shaped lamps?  because the Clearview has a totally different design.  Was wondering if the Starships are the same way or no?

Carol, yes they have an inline switch like most other Lamps. They take the same bulb as the Wizards, (40w s11n). They are vertical in the Lamps like most Lamps instead of horizontal like the Wizard. They take regular 32oz globes.

Seems like they would do good if they did bring it back. I would like to maybe even see a new version!
