Mountain Dew - Extreme!!

So, I bought a Mountain Dew Motion "Lava" Lamp from ebay. Dude said it worked and yadda yadda yadda. Well, guess what? It didn't. I had a lava brand 20 oz. lamp that I was tired of it over heating (was made in china). So I used the innards of that one and used it in this lamp. Since this lamp is smaller, by just a tiny bit, I had a little left over. I used yellow wax and purple liquid. Ya, I know that this isn't really a "true" customization but it is different considering that this was a Mountain Dew style lamp. So, for now on this is my custom Mountain Dew Lava Lamp named Mt.Dew Extreme. Hope you all like it!

How did you put the cap back on the lamp?

The weird thing is, that i used the cap from the lava brand one and it seiled tight when I hit it on. I used a crab claw cracker to gently push the sides of the cap. That cap isn't going anywere.
