Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have a Seamore ceramic, nice lamp, it was my first. Over the years the fluid level kept dropping, and getting lighter. It went from a nice almost full blue to a 3/4 full dirty grey. I popped the top, added a few oz water, a pinch of salt, and 4 drops blue food coloring, and viola!! Good as new!

I recently bought what was supposed to be a Starship on ebay, red/purple, it came in a Starship box, but what I got was a Wizard with yellow/blue. Too close a color combo to my Seamore. So, I drained the water, added new, 2 full teaspoons sea salt, i/2 drop Dawn, two drops red, and one drop yellow food coloring. It's now a smoking hot lemon/tangerine Wizard. All's well that ends well!

Will post a pic or two when I shoot them.
