The lamp that Heidi mentioned below is my lamp. It happens that I don't have the original cap. I reduced the price to reflect it and mentioned it in the description. Having one of the larger collections on this site, you are bound to have a odd ball every once in awhile. I'm curious, how are we supposed to sell off the odd duck lamps?

I had seen this on ebay and noticed that the starting bid was half of what you normally set the starting bid at. I didn't read the description but am glad to hear that you gave full disclosure. Anyone who has a lamp that is missing the top cap has tried different aesthetic solutions, and I have seen much worse that this. In the end, like has been said, it is odd, and it adds a little bit of comic relief, which is one of the thoughts behind this group.
