I am going to school for Graphic Design and I want to build a Lava lamp for my final in 3-D Design. The lamp I have I bought in 70-71.

blue in clear with black base. This is one of the first marketed. it sets on my study desk and has been with me thru an assortment of moves. I love it

    There are so many formulas out there that are being tried. I have yet to try one of them myself. The best advice I can give right now is this....Don't trap yourself in the house with noxious fumes, especially if you have pets or small children. Also, realize you're playing with hot, possible volatile substances. Protect your eyes and watch yourself for burns. Can't be too safe out there. Lots of luck with your venture. I'll be on the path pretty soon and will post my results as I get something that works.
