, added a few oz water, a pinch of salt, and 4 drops blue food coloring, and viola!! Good as new!
I recently bought what was supposed to be a Starship on ebay, red/purple, it came in a Starship box, but what I got was a Wizard with yellow/blue. Too close a color combo to my Seamore. So, I drained the water, added new, 2 full teaspoons sea salt, i/2 drop Dawn, two drops red, and one drop yellow food coloring. It's now a smoking hot lemon/tangerine Wizard. All's well that ends well!
Will post a pic or two when I shoot them.…
p comes with a new 40 watt high intensity bulb. Base has absolutely no dents, dings or scratches. Does not come with the original box. Very nice lamp to add to your collection. Lamp was VERY hard to photograph, pictures don't do it justice.
Asking $40 plus shipping costs. If interested, please email me at: simplicity717man@yahoo.com I have been shipping lava for a long time, and I have a few more lamps to sell from my personal collection. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks…
base alone was. Nothing at all like my late 90s silver Starship. But, it is quite orange and violet... damn fluorescent lighting wouldn't get along with my camera.…
with a different globe put on it.
It was not home made as it was available in a few select online stores like that (at around 50ish if I remember correctly).
It's rarer then a regular starship since it has the custom shield/globe cover.

An interesting thing about the lamp is it appears to be a midnight starship that had its paint stripped. matt01165 said:

king" and "better" are highly relative terms and are not always related to price, for me. Personally, I would not spend $1000 for a Lunar, but I would spend $200 for a Starship Grande. …
Look at this complement to starship lamps;
