i still think grande glitter lamp is a bit waste of money cuz it only glitter......not like the grande lava lamp ones

Nope, you just have to be careful when you spray on the first coat that you don't get tooooo much on there. I sprayed it outside in the yard, so a lot of it was dissipated in the breeze. I did have a drip on the cap, but it really isn't too noticable.

I just used a can of Krylon spray paint. It was a metallic blue, sorry I can't remember the name. Got it at Lowe's. :)

No kidding! I'm going to paint another base or two as soon as the weather warms up. Should be interesting. Wish I could figure otu a way to (without talent) paint a base and cap so it looks tie dyed!
