I took a 40th Anniversary clear/red and changed the color to burgundy/red.

I have been pretty happy with my resin lavas. I only have 3. The 90's, 70's and 60's. I haven't managed to get an 80's yet.
The thing you need is patience with them. The globes are really sluggish with the flow. You need to run them normally for a month or 2 to get the wax to fully loosen up.
The one in the picture just never flowed well, so I put a better coil in it and tinkered with the flow and it is great now. I also hadda color the liquid.

Are they worth buying? Yes.
But they can be hit or miss because of Lava Worlds' formula.

Give one a shot.
The globe colors I have are what come with them. Clear/red(turned burgundy/red), purple/red and purple/yellow.
