This bottle has painted stripes (which are all parallel of course to one another) that are ORIGINAL, I only changed the wax & liquid to match was would have been in the globe when it was new. The Paint on the cap and base are also unlike I have seen, a military green.

what kind of paint did you use on the bottom of the bottle? I'd love to try it sometime on one of mine!

It's white/clear refill, but that would have been the original color. It has red, green and blue segments painted under the bottle. Try a white/clear Astro globe and you'll get the same effect - paint the colors like a pie cut in three pieces.
