Yes i'm very fortunate to have two of these including one with the often missing perspex stand. i also have a mathmos fibre space and several older continental fibre lamps too.

This is the one I want to find. I have 2 later fibre mathmos lamps but they're not a patch on this lovely thing. I am very envious.

One of Galaxys has the original perspex stand. I don't normally display that one.

True Jonas (about the splinter - nasty)

It's such a simple and sylish idea to enclose the fibres in a perspex dome. I suppose it's not necessary nowadays with the cheaper plastic fibres.

As you can see by my current avatar, I'm a nut for these glass optic fibre lamps. The Galaxy had a great idea - enclosing the glass fibres in a sealed dome. The USA-made ones have them exposed, and they shed occasionally - a splinter is even less fun than usual when you cannot see it!
