The little french boiler, sadly out of commission now. Bulb is accessed direct through underside of the chrome stand.

French lavaboiler with beads by F. Vaudan of Paris. Seen these in red/pink, yellow-green, blue and orange. Am I correct that the glass can be removed from the base to access the bulb?

There's an amazing contrast between the very slow and deliberate flow of this crestworth Lantern and the fast and feisty french boiler lamp
