Hey Bryin! Impressive collection! I was wondering if you've ever had any of these re-plated. I have four Florence Art glitter lamps and one of them is in horrible shape. Polishing won't help. Any ideas what I could do to restore this lamp?

I don't have any contact for him, sorry... I traded him a Florence Art just like your cage model. I suggest putting a few droplets of mineral oil at the groove where base and globe meet, waiting a bit to let it seep into the crack, then trying again. Would you mind dropping me an email? I'd like to chat glitters. jcefoundit@gmail.com

The coppery one with the ring is a strange one. I'll put up a better pic of it later today for ya. It's all original, too. It was an eBay purchase a number of years ago. The wire cage one I also purchased from eBay a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I have not been able to get the globe out of the base to replace the bulb. No matter how hard I try, I can't get it out. Any suggestions? I don't want to break anything. I bought a bunch of French glitters and lavas from Karoll years ago. Are you still in contact with him? He had a couple of Florence Arts lamps I wanted, but his prices were so high that I didn't buy them. Of course, I'm still missing the ones I didn't get from him.

Also, anything on the coppery one with a ring at the base, at back right, immediately to the left of the wood-column double lamp? Your wire cage-base one (second friom right) is missing a bit of liquid, just like mine was, and I traded mine to Karoll, a French glitter collector. Any chance yours came from him?

It's original. I actually thought it was a re-paint when I bought it, but when it arrived, it was obviously original!

Is the plain, large bottle, black base lamp at far left original, or was it aftermarket-painted black? If it's original, I need to add it to my list of oil glitter/Florence Art styles.
