Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

The back corner. Some lava, including a Princess and a Princess/Empress hybrid, a Creators rain lamp, a display of Balafire light bulbs and Aerolux bulbs (in basket) some postcards, and a red chest-of-drawers containing the rest of the light bulb collection. At far left is an Edwards door chime, an unusual model with chrome bells and a glass mirror.

VintageK, the door chime is actually a circular glass mirror. It has chrome chimes and is only missing a glass ball finial that went on top.

Ooops I should have read the earlier posts first!  Got the answer to the orange! And meant the Princess :)

I have the hanging mill stream oil lamp, great one! The mirrored circle doorbell is awesome too! Did you paint the orange lava lamp? I still want the consort wall lamp! :D

This rain lamp is gorgeous! Would this be considered the large size? Also, not sure what they are called but I love your wall hanging lava lamps. They look great!

BEAUTIFUL. I finally got a Princess myself! Ah to find an Empress.

The display seen here on the right is no longer as shown: the Lantern, Princess and Carlisle are part of my lava pyramid; the Coca-Cola lamp is finding a new spot, as the Fluidium may, too; the rain lamp will return (needs cleaning - these things are dust magnets!) and along the rear will be a raised row of three Centuries:
- red/clear with brass 80s base
- green/blue with brass (faded to silver) 70s base
- orange/yellow with copper two-part 60s base

The wall lamps were pretty hard to find, yeah. The large one is a hybrid I made using parts of an incomplete Empress and Princess. The small one (Princess) is one I'd been after for well over 15 years - the owners finally agreed to sell me one of their pair. The Carlisle is painted - I made it using a dented base and a new globe and cap.

It's a Carlisle, a late 70s lamp. I sprayed in bright fluorescent orange myself, and added a white/orange globe. This Carlisle had a lot of scratches as it was, so modifying it seemed less destructive. I based it on one I saw on eBay, that looked like some 70s owner had done this - he/she had added some funky decals too.
