Does the bottle cap have any numbers on it at all or is it blank? I'm asking because I've bought a clear/white just recently with nothing written on the cap other than Lava Lite and I'm trying to decide if it's a true #01 Clear/White or if someone faded a #03 and just washed the numbers off.

i did mine with a cordless drill and a very tiny bit was kindve like going through butter, nothing to it....

The white globe is from 99. I have thought about punching holes myself, I would love to see someone with the skills, actually punch the holes with a tool that has like a star pattern and can recreate the starlight effect.

i took a silver aristocrat from spencers and drilled some starlite holes in it, looks very convincing...

Is that white aristocrat a screw-top or a bottle cap? If it's a bottle cap, what year was the globe produced?
