I believe this was a yellow/orange with ruined liquid. Liquid has been replaced and re-dyed. It flows well, but it's sluggish. Still a neat lamp to look at. :)

Just blue and green. Maybe 1-2 drops of each. Try with water first, so you don't ruin a good lamp! :) McCormick food coloring is all I used.
So surreal, I'm jealous !
Thanks Tiff and Libby!
Beautiful colors, Erin!! Love it!
Thanks for the tips Joanne. This fluid is not the original. I don't have perc, but I have SLES.
Brakleen brake cleaner by CRC in the red can is 100% Tetrachloroethylene (PERC). read the label if its flammable its not the right stuff . you have to spray it into a jar first ( outdoors it stinks ) and then put that liquid caught in the jar in the wax , i use small squeeze bottles or a eye dropper , make sure you cap the jar or it will evaporate !
Oh, and meant to add that my 1975 Century has always been kind of sluggish, even when it was new. The new little Classic I got a while ago bubbles away at a frenetic pace compared to my Century. I like both!
It is a beautiful color combo!
What's PERC?
let it run a lot before putting too much of either in it again , even shut if off and restart it but be sure to keep the cap on as the PERC does evaporate easily .
before you dump it try this . if the wax is heavier it falls faster right ? and if the liquid is denser the wax rises faster right. i try to do a bit of both till it flows the way i like , the bubbles are from a high amount of surfactant . try this . a few drops at a time of PERC directly in the wax as it rises to the top then a few drops of a high salt solution in the liquid ( pickling salt dissolved into distilled water , make sure you put as much salt as the water will hold before using it stir it and I heat the water up ) . id try that before dumping it
