And so begins the restoration project. Jim, you pack like a madman. Well done. Arrived safe and sound. And now I have enough packaging supplies to insulate my house. :)

Indeed. I'm wondering about the repaint... if I need to use something with a flex additive since some of the legs are kinda bendy.
I was so hoping that 5 Below lava would have been the right consistency for a Consort. Clear/white would have been bangin' on the black Mediterranean base.
Ah. Glitter it is then!
That lava is junky 5 Below lava. Might be more trouble than its worth. The original lava was fried beyond repair.
;) I do like having lamps from friends, and vice-versa. When Mike was here last weekend, he said it was cool to see his lamps again. :) I am going to try to salvage the lava, but I know that's not likely. I've already got plans to put Kirk's magical glitter in it. :)
OMG - your beautiful picture looks just like my cat Thumper!
Glad it arrived safe and sound. I've lost a few lamps over the years due to piss poor packing. I pack em how I desire others to pack lamps they ship to me.
I can't wait to see this lamp reborn. I also love that I have a little bit of me in your house and I also have a little bit of you in my house. We are forever connected.
Kirk, I just emailed ya' with that same thought. ;)
I think it needs some multicolor glitter, Erin!
