Only kidding, Jim... well... kinda. That’s a great story and the sentimentality is worth more than the $$$ any day. But... if that sentimentality ever wears off...
Sorry Tony, but there's some sentimental value with that particular globe. Made several visits to Lava Lite HQ when it was in Elk Grove Village and this puppy was gifted to me by a Lava Lite employee. Though they had long ago transitioned to Chinese production, she still had this brand spanking new US made gem (sticker still on globe) and hooked me up. The good news is that it made that blue/silver globe available to you - it was one or the other and the teal won out. :-)
Jim, it’s a little warm right now for a bulky jacket. How about a fat wallet?
Tony, you'll have to bring a big bulky jacket to get my teal glitter globe out of the house. Ashton - pics of my red multicolor glitter to come this weekend. I may take a short video of it running side by side my red/silver glitter globe for comparison sake.
Beautiful display Tony!!!
Ashton, I consider myself lucky to have been able to add these to my collection. Those hard to find colors have to be out there somewhere though, right?
Thank you, Jonas! These were collected rather quickly. Green, orange, and Teal may prove to be more challenging to find though.
Excellent Wizard collection! You've got seven of the nine standard colors (that's not including the two multi-colors).
