Mines blue on the outside and yellow in the middle mine however is flaking.

Blue with a thin red stripe through the middle and barely any flaking...Yours ? 

Mine has a few scuffs on the base and cap though.

Yours looks mint ! Where did you find it ?

One of the best glitter lamps ever produced... got myself one recently, it wasn't cheap but worth every penny!
