Propylene Glycol to the rescue! Tower flow MUCH BETTER

Greetings, I pulled out my red/clear tower lava lamp from years ago and powered it up only to find that the flow was gone. Large blob would form, rise halfway up, then fall back - over and over. Since it's a three-gallon lamp, I got a half liter of propylene glycol and added about 1/3 of it. Improved rises resulted, added the next third, got better, and finally when the whole bottle was in there, the flow reached the top and I got great action. So happy!
