So I will be rewiring this lamp. The cord that came with it is not original anyway. Also, the bulb that came with it is a bayonet style... really something that I can't replace. I noticed that it is a 60W bulb, but I don't think that the original bulbs were 60W, unless someone else knows. I bought a candelabra socket at Lowes, but when I got home I realized it is way too tall. If I can get a short base, I will be okay I think. I found candelabra globe-style bulbs that seem to be the same height as the bulb that came with it...

I think I can use a candelabra socket with this. I kind of wish I could utilize the ground screw, but I don't think that is possible. I don't think I can get a cord that will do this. It just means I need to be extra careful with wiring.

If anyone knows how old this lamp is, I would love to hear!
