On the Mathmos site it states not suitable for polished silver base, Heritage base only !
I put mine on my black Heritage base and it never got flowing but flows fine on a chrome base !!!
I see yours is on the standard base too.
Its not a problem for me but will message them.
Yours looks great too btw.
