I bought my blue green astro in this shop last August. I live in Paris. However they removed the display. Great store for mathmos lamp.

Great story Aladdin!!!  I still remember those great Christmas displays I used to see in town when I went shopping with my mom back in the late 60's, early 70's!!!

This takes me right back Keith... my love of lava started as a kid way back in the 60s with a department store window display of Astro Lamps in 'London' similar to this.

Those lamps are displayed very nicely! America has no lava love for the holidays :(

Cats are way WORSE then dogs when it comes to knocking things off of shelves, but I have 5 dogs and 3 are above 80 pound's so when they get rowdy, it's scary!!!  lol!!!  Then the 2 pugs are boys and in order to feel like "real" mean, even though neutered, just enjoy the pants off of "marking" their territory!!  So, low to the ground, or on the floor isn't an option and up high is kind of scary too!!!  That is a super nice window display though.  I bet it really looks pretty at night!!!

I agree 100%, keith! As nice as this looks, my cat would never allow it to last in my house! He knocks things off tables and watches them hit th ground. I can't even imagine what he'd do with this. It is a beautiful display though.

I've thought about doing shelves like that for a while, but kind of concerned about cats climbing them and knocking over my lamps!  This is nicer than what I had in mind.
