Brad, I even have vintage lamps that have bubbles in the wax......and unfortunately, nope, nobody knows why or how to get rid of them.

i've been on this site for over 5 years and have never seen a clear solution on how to prevent bubbles in wax.  goo kits are notorious for producing bubbles.

Some of mine started with bubbles and some didn't, but the ones that didn't start with the bubbles got them down the road.  They do get less and less with each run though. 

 

Vox, I can't speak for Brian, but sometimes when you take pics of the kits the lighting from the bulb causes the wax to look like it is different colors according to how close it is to the bulb.  My blue wax looks purplish when it is closer to the bulb, but as it gets to the top starts to look like a deeper blue.  In other spots it looks like a plum color.

Yea, my first gookit did that for the first few runs, should go away. Am I crazy or is that wax casting a few different colors?! Is it a rainbow globe or something? Very cool.

A few of my goo's did that and went away after awhile.
