That cap looks perfect. I too have a cracked cap I would like to repair. What type/brand of epoxy did you use?

Yes, using a quality and strong epoxy is the key to success.

Good job. Can't even tell it was broke. I had one that was cracked just like yours and I used a two part epoxy. It came out like new as well.
