Made in the 70s, I think. I won this on eBay, sold it to Autumn and then bought it back this week. :) It's been refilled with US Lava Lite glitter, but I might be sending it off to Kirk for some of his magic glitter!

I might be changing the color of this to clear/silver glitter - we'll see. I do know about the colored gels, as I've had them on my Fantasia glitter lamps. :) Thanks for the link!
I really like this lamp! The red looks nice. If you decide to refill it, maybe consider silver glitter/clear liquid. Then purchase some stage lighting color gels, cut to fit, and slap on the bottom of the globe. You can change the color whenever you want - solid or multi. I've used these on various glitters when the original color gel sticker thingie has fried and cracked from years of use. They're cheap and easily withstand the heat from Gemlites, Fantasia glitters, etc.

I keep wanting to fill all my less-than-perfect lamps with Kirk's glitter. Sadly, I let many lamps go because they had problems... but that was before Kirk figured out the formula!
I'm tempted, though the red is nice. What color would you do? I'm thinking seafoam green...
Classy!
Nice find, yea kirks glitter would do it justice
