They both do this after about 2 hours even with a dimmer and a normal 40 watt bulb I don't know what the issue could be

I have been able to fix the issue with both lamps now and I don't post very often here but once I get more lamps in my collection ill post more pictures of it vintage lamps are hard to find and Ebay is often times a bit out of my budget
