Here's my $40 blue/yellow grande.  Flows great (100 watt bulb), not cloudy, but the globe has smudges on the outside that I have not been able to remove.  It also flows OK on a 75 watt bulb but takes several hours to get going.

lol...i knew it was a gamble when i bought it. it was only around $50 and i got a $20 refund so i only ended up payin $30 for it which is well worth the base n globe. im going to try to filter it and if it doesent work ill kit it.
