That was very inventive of you, David, and it turned out lovely! Congrats!! But I still have never seen a Coke bottle that big. LOL
I got the bottle and Goo Kit on Ebay. The Base is a Cigar Box I decopodged and mounted the Hardware. The Metal Part is a Flour sifter I got at Wal-Mart, I removed the handle and painted it with Krylon Paint. All of the other Hardware came from Wal-Mart as well. Standard Lamp socket and dimmer switch. Started with a 25 Watt bulb but had to step it up to a 40 so it would work.
yes Grenadine
I have never seen a Coke bottle that large in my life. I was wondering where David got that.
I've got two or three Coke bottles that size but haven't taken the time to make a lava lamp out of them. Jim has also talked about making one.
I thought David did a great job too, Keith. I can see me inventing something like that! EEKKK
Good job!!
So does my husband. I used to, but got used to Diet Coke and now the ones with sugar are sickeningly sweet to me. But really, I think the sugar pops are supposed to be better for you. I used to love Cherry Cokes in the old drug store here. They put the cherry syrup in them there.
and by that I mean non corn syrup
I honestly like the specialty sodas, the ones made with real sugar. Shirley Temple being my fav. then cherry dr pepper
