This is what we call a Stonker of a wave machine.

It's one of the early mass produced Lava Simplex Internationale wave machines. They sold them in catalog showrooms like Service Merchandise and Luria's. Also this model's base has the same number as the later smaller Adriatic models: 709u

If somebody got some info about this machine please let me know. Didn't find anything so far. 

It is 28'' long  x 5" x 5",
