My grandes both have it too, however not that many!

The wax looks sweet.. A very special color you got yourself :)

i have a few older globes that have a few also. its like tiny bubbles in the glass or something.

I didn't notice specks when I bought the lamp because it was pretty cloudy. After I did the goo kit I noticed them, but I thought it was the surficant bubbles on the inside. When the bubbles didn't go away, I looked a little closer and saw they were in the glass itself.

I have some globes like this, so yes, I'd say it can be normal. I have some globes that look like a smear or streaks, but it's imperfections in the glass.
