Only a handful of Imperials are known. It is truly a rare lamp. The base and cap are supposed to be brass, but the amber lacquer on the spun metal usually fades, turning them silver. Ring and legs are solid American Walnut. Truly a stunning Lava Lite. What's the story - how did you find this, do you know how and where the original owners purchased it?
