Shelf of lamps

I need to figure out something to do with the cords. They look so messy. Also my Psychedelic Swirl needs a matching cap. I was thinking about spray painting the one on it now purple so it will somewhat match the base. The purple Clear View was bought last year before they figured out to frost the bottom 1/2" of the base. It is blinding when the lamp is at eye level. So I put it up on a higher shelf.
