"Stylishness with simplicity; beauty without blandness." Couldn't have put it better myself! A simple, elegant model believed to be mid 70s to mid 80s; came out with the Aladdins Lamp and Saturna, but probably outlasted them by a long time!

I've always pictured this as the lamp that's properly at home atop someone's grandma's or aunt's console TV set. The box art pictured a smiling patient and dentist (wielding one of those scary drills run by a chain of linked metal belts) watching one; the other three images were a stockbroker with an Astro (and an oil derrick outside), two teens grooving over a Mediterranean, and grandma knitting in a rocking chair beside a Coach.

Boring as it may be, this is my favorite Lava Lite lamp. :)
