Rather than the usual label with "47 Action Starlight" and instructions, the label on this one has only the MasterCrafters info and the word VIVID. I modded this one the same way I did the other I have: added a third socket which illuminates the dial. It stays on when the glitters are turned off. This one has the squared numerals, my other has the rounded numerals. Nice and quiet, keeps excellent time and the glitter flows well.

Hey Jonas, i know this is an old post, but how rare is this clock and what would you say they are worth these days? Thanks!
I've recently acquired one of these and have had it adapted (step-down and frequency converter) to work on UK voltage, they are beauties, aren't they?
I can see why you have modified yours to add illumination for the dial, please may I ask how/where you fitted the third socket? Presumably it's housed with the others under the rear baseplate so the light gets up through the gap there? But I can't work out how - and I don't want to cut unnecessarily!
