Update on Poly-Optic lights..

.between 60s -70s  a company Poly Optics made a series Space  Age Lighting called Star Flite.  Colors could be changed by using  Mylar Color Strip they provided. Fiber designs were arraigned in smoked acrylic bases of varied design. Sprays cut and heat treated into space age shapes.. with Lamp names  like Triad, Mercury, Neptune.....

Variations in the collection ranged from. table lamps to hanging .. open & encased , Triad was like a convertible with removable case sides. Others on pedestals , domes all with own variations and personality to reflect its name.  Then prices ranged from 20 to 40 dollars .

I have 3 Venus models and 2 of the La Trev models.

*teal, amber = Venus     Red = La Trev

I was not fond of some of my sprays style .Some had tubes I  removed holding fibers in tiers and gave three of them a mushroom top like shape. Also used color gels i cut to fit and created my own color hues for lamps..

Two things come to mind.. a fountain with colored lights or fire works. Most rewarding deal I have gotten in a while
