thanks, jonas!  i'm definitely hanging on to these.  i considered selling, but i just can't part with them for nostalgic reasons.

Yep, Heat Tapes Inc. "Stardust Lites." VERY desirable. Keep a tight hold on these - I suggest them as nightstand lamps, since they can run constantly. Good night lights.

it is!  they purchased the pair from montgomery ward in the 60's.  they had the lamps sitting on top of a record player console in the front window of the house.  i guess i have lava/glitter lamps in my genes!

Thanks! My grandmother gave me this one and a green one. I remember seeing these in her house when I was a kid! They are in excellent shape.

Gorgeous! And right now, these are going for tons on eBay. I believe this was made by Heat Tapes of Chicago.
