So This is closer to true color of my Glo-Worm now. It gives off a multicolor/shift look now, still running strong! Liquid has since faded from slight yellow to clear again. Running with a Reveal bulb, colder light temps=hot wax ;)

Love the colour Nick... my purple's a bit too dark/opaque.
Excellent tip, Dr. What?! I have surplus ink at home and office, this could get colorful...
Nice thanks, I'm going to get some and try it on my grande that refuses to stay blue. Food coloring is organic it'll always fade. You can buy inkjet refill bottles for pretty cheap on ebay

Yes, this is the Blue Sky lamp dyed with Peak liquid dye, Dr. What?!
It throws off an interesting multicolor effect as seen in the picture. When it is at its darkest color zone it is bordering blacklight purple levels.
I did use McKormick food coloring but just barely over a couple drops. I will have to try out the printer ink method as I have ample inkjet carts, especially the ones that say they are empty but could still print an entire set of encyclopedias, thanks for the tip!
is this the bluesky dye lamp? And I found that inkjet printer ink works really well with staying its color. Did you use food coloring the first time?
