Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I found this blue and white midnight for $10 at this place called ultimate consignment, and I'm so happy. It is a screw cap, and I have never seen a screw cap on a midnight before. The date sticker on it says 1989. I can't wait to see it flow! I haven't gotten the chance yet. I have been looking for a good blue and white midnight for awhile, and what better one to find than this one. Especially for the price.

Thanks! It is a great lamp. It is one of the best flowing lamps I have! I have never seen a 32oz flow this way haha. Yes, the lava is a yellow ish green color. Upon startup it is white, and the first flow it is white, but then it gets a slight yellow green color.

Nice find! I have a 90's midnight in this same combo, since moved it to a Princess base. Does the lava on your 80's almost seem greenish yellow?

Great find, Ian.  These screw caps from the 1980s seem to be quite rare.
