I'm really digging the love for Floyd  going on here lately!

I bought replacement piece. Problem is, these are not 3 separate panels. Heated and bent into place, glued in. The trick will be to get it out without damaging the plastic frame.  Any suggestions?

They may have multiple patterns, too.

ahhh thanks Keith. Going to Ace hardware tonight.  :)

I can answer that.  Look in a hardware store for the covers that go over florescent light fixtures, like the ones in drop-ceilings.  I have a "color-organ" and that is what the cover is.  If possible, have the hardware store cut it to size.

Alpha or Jonas... you think it possible to find this type of plastic to replace the painted cover?

Yeah I got this many moons ago. I never heard them called color organ till recently. Everyone called it a light box and it has a built in mic that responds to music.

The generic term for these is "color organ," because many of them responded to sound, for pairing with stereos. Some had a mic built-in, while others wired to the stereo, and some had one and a few had two or more response channels. Those that aren't sound-responsive are best with random-blink bulbs.

You'll find a bazillion different versions from tiny to huge. There are a few swag-chain ones and some that are built into record players, stereo speakers, etc.

Still cool though, i like these, so retro with their wood effect.
