Brad - I haven't seen them here (Colorado) in many years and, judging by the prices the big ones seem to fetch on ebay, they haven't been available anywhere for a while. However, the smaller ones are still around - check out this link:

I have one of these as well - quite a bit smaller, but still every bit as cool!
i remember seeing the lightning disks on the top shelf at spencer's. are they really gone now? it doesn't seem like long ago that i saw them...or am i just forgetting things?!
Spectacular!! Love it!
Many thanks for the comments! Yes, since all my walls are white, I like to hide my cords as much as possible. I found the Cordmate strips at Home Depot, but I'm sure they have something similar at Lowes or any hardware store. Incredibly easy - they have adhesive on the back, so you just cut them to the length you need.
I think I see what Jack is talking about now. That's one of those strips that covers cords in corners isn't it? I actually thought that disk was a fancy crystal platter. Just beautiful.
I like the way you hide the cords
Very nice!
That is awesome, Rob!!! Love it!!!
Love the opposing globe and base colors. And the disk. Wow! Looks great!
