My father in law was a glass blower by trade and made a lot of the neon signage for the New Jersey casinos!!!  He since got rid of all his tools and burners and what not.  Had his own lab in his basement.  He is now retired.  I don't think I would want to ask him to make me a "bong" though, looolololo!!!  Like "hey dad, can you make me this"!!!!!
