I had a similar problem with my Elegant Enchantress globe resting on the bulb. A quick fix is to wrap the globe in a layer or two of electrical tape around the base of the globe just where the base should hold it. If placed carefully, it should be invisible when the globe is on the base.
I forgot to type on the pic i just put here but my question is there supposed to be some sort of system for the globe to be supported or is it just kind of a press fit i know the ridge kind of holds it but it seems like the globe is on the bulb. I knew it was a capri when i saw it and it was not listed for very long when i hit buy it now...befor i did though i verified it with our lava library haha. Your comments make me feel as though i got a good deal.
Nice score. That model is the first Lava lamp model I ever bought. I bought a new one as a kid in the seventies....been a lover of Lava since. I still have my original Capri and its box too.
Wow! Great score! Even looks like the wax and flow are pretty smooth too. Don't see Capri's in this condition for that little very often. Again, congrats on the find!
