Lava Lamp Surrounded by Copper Pipe (front)

The base is part of a lazy susan. Copper ground terminals secure the copper salad bowl the base. A 3" copper sweat cap connects the first length of copper pipe to the salad bowl. Six 1/8" brass and three 1/8" threaded copper pipes connect the bottom 3" copper pipe to the top 3" copper pipe. The Lava lamp is in the middle of these supported internally from inside the bottom pipe. Topped off with another 3" copper sweat cap, a copper shade I found somewhere and a globe from the stockpile. Electric for the top top light runs through the 1/8" support tubes.
Toggle switch is for the Lava lamp and the key switch is to dim the top light.
