Hi
I'm interested in buying both models of kaleidolite... Anyone selling?

It would be interesting to see the workings of the other 'Kaleidolite' model as owned by Craig (Fogrider). It is a fantastic model too and mounted on a 'Consort' style base as Weebo descibes.
This is another oddity. The KaleidoLite literature describes it has having "multicolored lights programmed to blink singly and in sequence...shining through a matrix", and yet one version uses a rotating heat-driven cylinder like this with patterns. There is another version with multicolor lights and a stationary cylinder with patterns, but they're not 'programmed' - they're just random-blink bulbs.
The Silver Spinner's ad copy says it has multicolored lights programmed to blink, and a matrix which revolves... and yet this has just another rotating motion-lamp cylinder.
Weebo, you have one. Is it built like this, or is there another variant?

Yes the conditon is absolutely incredible. It's really like it has spun its way to the present day from 1974 without a blemish or mark on it. The wire is still coiled as if from the factory.
