they had a fire hazzard with them. I read a while back that a few that were in dorms were left unattended and got hot enought to catch fire. It seems the bulbs made contact with the covering and up it went.

Thats a bit stupid surley they would have made it flame retardent - I would advise anyone who has one of thies to try and flame retard it themselves.

Usps was improperly stacking the boxes. The box was crushed in the middle which means they screwed up.

I did notice that the support rod can lean towards the sides if improperly installed.

I bet you could easily re-wrap that thing so you don't have any holes. Maybe there's some way to make the wrapping changeable, so you could change colors whenever you want? Anyway, nifty lamp you have there.
