This lamp was made about five years ago, using the glitter from seven Crestworth Living Jewels, plus not quite all their MF, as I recall...
It runs in a blizzard of chrome glitter on a 25w Crompton angostura-coloured golfball bulb, which I find astonishing.
The bottle has blue and yellow painted stripes added on to the base

Spectacular with the Living Jewell glitter.
Ha! Wish I could claim such foresight... good spot, though...and good sentiment!
I actually made two of these Ukranian Lunar LJs back in the day (quite a bit faster than Lunar AstroBabies) - after picking up a large LJ collection - it left me with a lot of empty LJ's
After a lot of anxious thought (the process is pricey and irreversible) I converted them to wall-mounted lamps, and persuaded Kirk to re-create the four "lost" Living Jewel colours, I'll re-photograph them later (the blue is fading so I'm working on this) and post them here. Not as cool as those Cosmic Windows, but an interesting sidelight on the fast glitter story, I think...
Very Nice!
That reminds me of my Lunar that was using Mathmos glitter baby glitter -
Another type of UK glitter that I really like is that really slow moving Living Jewel Diamond multi color glitter made by Glitterama - http://oozinggoo.ning.com/photo/cresthworth-rainbow-bottle
