It stalled and would not run at all until that "magic" dark blue base "Mysteriously" showed up in my mailbox!! That is the only base the Blue glitter Wizzie will run on. Magic....... ;-))

wasn't there a way to tell the difference between a china and US glitter by the shape of the glitter? i think one was square and the other was hexagonal?

Could you by any chance post a photo of the inside of the base to give me a guide to rewire my US base ?

btw a blue glitter black one came up on Gumtree for £5 a while ago in northeast London ! about an hour and a half drive around the M25 orbital from home but I couldn't face the traffic...uhg.

Was browsing last night and saw it for the £35 buy it now price and just couldn't resist it. I have a clear liquid silver base/cap one as well which I also brought off UK ebay. I would love to own some of the coloured base/cap ones but they only seem to come up on the USA ebay site. I have brought two fantasia lamps from there and the cost of the p&p plus the customs charge is very steep. Hopefully some more will come up for sale in the near future if you are still after one.
